Week 3.

This week I chose the poem Tower Tigers Cheer (pg 81)
This is the poem i chose:
Tiger, tiger, burning bright,
Tiger power, Tiger might.
Pawed 'em,
Sawed 'em,
Ate 'em,
Gnawed 'em.
Tiger, tiger, burning bright,
Tiger power, Tiger might.
Trapped 'em,
Zapped 'em,
Floored 'em,
Rapped 'em.
Our immortal hand or eye,
We're Tiger power, hear our cry.
Tiger, tiger, burning bright,
Tiger power, Tiger might.

The rhyme scheme is : a,a,b,b,a,b,b,c,a
The way the poem is printed is in a cheer (song) kind of format.
My Connections: Our pep assebmly's cant go on without our victory cry!
and i play basketball with all my might.
What it means to me: This poem means that you can always do great with fans and supporters who help cheer you on with your "Tower Tiger Cheer."

I chose this poem becuase, basketball is my favorite sport of all. As in the story said "No ball? Im dead." Thats my most favorite part of the story because basketball is like my life! Without it I'm incomplete. The steps that are described in the poem are like life itself, in life theres many steps that people take to achieve their goals.
